How Long for Term Life Insurance Coverage?

If you are considering the purchase of a term life insurance policy, you may be wondering how long term life insurance lasts, and which policy term (duration) to select.

Usually, term life plans may be available for a duration (term) of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, or 40 years.

However, the longest term available will depend on your age.

When choosing a policy term, you'll want to consider what goals you want your life insurance policy to accomplish, and how long your life insurance will need to remain In Force to accomplish those goals.

Then choose the longest duration of your longest goal.
